A year or so ago my doctor told me as my blood pressure had been consistently high I would need to on medication and if I didn’t watch out statins for cholesterol were going in the mix. I was sure then that type 2 diabetes would get me and probably thyroid as well. I was DOOMED!
What can I do I asked “lose weight” she scoffed, as if that would happen. I heard about the 5.2 diet, tried it and lost about 9kg. Added into the mix are the exercise sessions at Envie (including TRX) and my stamina, flexibility and muscle tone improved. Now I don’t need the bp meds and statins will not be required. My point is, it doesn’t matter how old you are, how unfit you are, you just start and keep on practicing. Consistency is the answer.
